COORDINATOR INFORMATION

Dear Local Industry Insider,

On behalf of myself, Price Hall, and my business partner, Cathy Henderson, we would like to invite you to consider becoming one of our Los Angeles Casting Connection Coordinators, to join us in bringing professional, working casting directors from Los Angeles to your community for the purpose of holding weekend workshops on the art and craft of the audition process.

Our company, The Los Angeles Casting Connection (LACC), was established by Price Hall and Cathy Henderson, both long-time professionals in the entertainment industry, with experience in a variety of areas within the industry. Cathy is a long-time, highly respected Los Angeles Casting Director, and Price is an internationally known acting teacher, coach, director and Studio head.

The reason for establishing LACC was to provide education within the entertainment industry, mostly within the field of acting, in an effort to raise the bar for the craft, and to create opportunities for talent not currently residing in Los Angeles to connect with Hollywood professionals. To accomplish this, LACC sends professional Casting Directors and Teachers from within the Hollywood community to different cities around the country to hold weekend Workshops on the art and craft of acting and the auditioning process. Not only do these events have a positive impact on the level of craft locally, they also provide LACC’s Casting professionals the opportunity to discover new talent outside of their daily pool of L.A.-based actors.

LACC is dedicated to the elevation of the entertainment industry, and is therefore committed to offering only those experiences of the highest level and quality. We are driven by a passion for the craft of acting, and our mission is to instill and/or deepen that same passion within everyone who participates in our events, while also providing possible avenues for the realization of their professional goals.

We are very interested in creating a relationship with local industry insiders such as yourself, who would see the benefit of exposing local talent to an ongoing series of weekend Workshops with Casting Professionals from the Los Angeles marketplace. The entertainment industry is becoming more mobile everyday, with films, television shows and digital media of all kinds being produced and shot in many locations outside of the traditional production centers of Los Angeles and New York. With this migration of production, the need and demand for well-trained local actors has become even greater. This reality provides opportunities for local Industry Insiders like yourself to work with L.A.-based CD’s when those productions come to your community.

The Natural Act and the LA Casting Connection are seeking motivated, responsible and industry savvy individuals in these communities to work with us to Coordinate and fill these Events. Our experience has shown that local Industry Insiders, i.e. casting directors, coaches, agents, theatre owners, etc., have the best working knowledge of and access to the local acting community, and can therefore realize the greatest success with the least amount of effort. We are also clear there are additional benefits to local Industry Insiders in establishing personal relationships with West Coast Casting Professionals. We look to further incentivize this interest with a financial benefit, which we combine with complimentary participation in the event, and the handling of all expenses related to the mounting and running of the Workshops. We are also constantly available to advise and facilitate your efforts from our Companys.

We are seeking one coordinator per community to be the exclusive representative of the Los Angeles Casting Connection.
